Fiscal Responsibility

We have consistently fought to keep spending down and to promote a fiscally responsible federal government.

We believe the biggest threat to economic growth is uncontrolled government spending. That is why we opposed the so-called stimulus bill, because the stimulus bill was a hodgepodge of liberal-targeted spending projects with a few decent ideas thrown in to try to appease Republicans. And, its massive spending plan was neither temporary, targeted nor timely.

We will continue to fight to keep spending down and promote fiscally responsible government.
